Common questions

Do I need to know how to paint?
Expand Text
Not at all! We encourage artists of all levels, including those of you who haven't yet discovered that you're an artist- to take our classes. We break down each painting step by step and are more than happy to help everyone individually. Each canvas is usually started off with a sketch of the painting for guidance as well.
Can I come to an event without reserving in advance?
Expand Text
You can, but you will not be guaranteed a spot within the class. Therefore, we highly recommend signing up beforehand by purchasing your ticket on our website to ensure we have enough seating and supplies for you to join us!
Can kids come to public events?
Expand Text
Yes! As long as the venue permits children to enter, they are more than welcome to join us. However, please be conscious that most of the places we work with serve alcohol, and participants in the class usually consume alcoholic beverages.
Where are your events?
Expand Text
We are a mobile company with roots in the Hudson Valley region of New York, but are currently based in the Western, Mountain Region of North Carolina!
Do you serve food and/or drinks?
Expand Text
We personally do not sell or serve food/drinks, but the venues where we host our public events always do! Sometimes our event tickets include a complimentary cocktail, so be sure to look out for that!
What is your cancellation policy?
Expand Text
Our cancellation policy is that if you let us know at least 24 hours in advance that you will not be able to make it to the event, you can apply your credit to a future event of equal or lesser value. Refunds are only issued if the event is canceled on our behalf.
What is your no show policy?
Expand Text
If you purchased a ticket and do not show up without letting us know ahead of time, you will not be issued a refund, nor will you receive a credit toward a future event.
How do I plan a private party?
Expand Text
If you are interested in planning a private party with us, you should reach out via email at monetandchardonnay@gmail.com or fill out the contact form on our website. When booking a private party, note that we will supply all painting materials necessary and even bring additional tables if needed. The location of your event will be one of your choosing and/or arranging. We require a minimum of ten guests or the price equivalent. The painting can be one that you choose from our pre-existing catalog, or we'd be happy to create something new and unique to fit the theme of your celebration! All tables will be covered with a protective cloth, and we will also supply smocks for all guests.
